Virgin Atlantic menu has changed

For anyone truly food obsessed like me that is flying soon the menu has changed... I've obviously looked at the inflight movies and meals and planned what I'm gonna watch and eat and was so looking forward to my cheesy pesto pasta but it's ok the new menu looks ok too, it will be mushroom pasta, I'll survive!

In all seriousness though I actually look for my fussy eating kids who are 12 & 13, I'd booked them kids meals as I knew they wouldn't like the menu choices but ds wouldn't really like the kids tomato pasta either, I can find new adult meals but not kids... if anyone knows the new kids meal please let me know so I can weigh up which is best, if 12 year old dd gets dinosaur pasta my life won't be worth living!

Old menu for the obsessed...
Chicken & mash
Pesto pasta
Chilli & rice

New menu
Teriyaki chicken & jasmine rice
Creamy Mushroom pasta
Chilli & wedges

Tea was pesto mozzarella sandwich and is now cheese & pickle.

I don't know but I'd guess just twice per year max, I looked when we booked in December and it hadn't changed until now!

I think I like the look of the new menu and Eva’s very keen on teriyaki anything. Thanks for sharing.

So much better just to take your own food... as then you can have what you like when you want it

So this be same for october u think?

Think the afternoon tea sandwich sounds better. Don’t think much of the meals. I went into VA booking to order the fruit platter for myself but the drop down menu for it fails to show. I guess I’ll have to ring them to add as it does say available on the main site.
Surely they can’t go wrong with that can they :erm:

Anyone know what the kids menu is?
