well now its decision time.

flights are now available from early july on our dates. A smidge over 500 each for 4 of us so the same price as last time. The big question is "Do I take the plunge?"

At the moment im leaning 'no'. Too much uncertainty, too little information . Insurance is a nightmare too. Japan goverment is showing no sign of foreign travel roadmaps, no sign of domestic roadmaps even. The election will dominate soon too.

I think it might end up being a carribean holiday next year (package) with a possible 2023 Japan.

Sad times.

I know what you mean, I’m so tempted to book for March. But like you say way too many what ifs at the moment.

Have you seen TDR Explorer’s blog post on why 2023 is a good year to visit?

My fingers are well and truly crossed about my May trip!

In a pre-covid world we should have been there this summer but we all know how that went. The plan now is WDW next summer to use up our DVC points and then Japan 2023, keeping everything crossed.
