Considering a change of hotel

Already booked PORS with free DP for 21 nights next July but now considering staying off site in a 2 bed Villa. LBV village resort and spa or Sheraton Vistana. I am worried we will miss out by not having the 60 day fast pass window. Please can you share your experiences of getting FPs at the 30 day point. Also any other recommendations for 2 bedroom options welcome. With a 14 year old girl I feel we need more space than a Disney bedroom. Thank you

We are local annual Passholders and regularly book fastpasses on the day or the day before. There are only a few rides that are very hard to get at 30 days. There is no way I would swop a 2 bedroom offsite to be crammed into 1 room just to take advantage of 60 say Fastpasses.

I am an onsite stayer, however there are only three rides that are available with a 60 day booking window but not 30 days; these are Slinky Dog, Flight of Passage and 7DMT. Everything else is much the same.

Although I do stay onsite, I often change my plans the day before and I have picked up Slinky and FOP. Fastpasses on the day, I have never managed a 7DMT fastpass on the day though.

I would be more wondering about losing free dining than 60 day fastpasses.

I would say the value of the 60 day fastpasses is nothing compared to the value of the free dining you would be losing.

Why not do a split stay? So 10 days onsite / 11 days offsite?

Offsite accommodation us so much better in standard and quality , lbv spa Is lovely but we love Bahama bay , both you really need a car for . If paid fast passes do materialise onsite will loose its appeal and more partner hotels are getting them which is saturating the FPS queues , they were mad the last few days .

Thanks for you comments. Agree the dinning was also a consideration but the cost off site off sets that 75% and we will not eat at Disney on universal/ off site days so we would likely break even based on previous experience. Any more ideas for off site?
