Dibb Hugs Dog related

our wee sheltie, who would be 14 in February has been slowing down over the past year, today she couldn't stand and peeded in her wee bed, I know deep down that the end is very close as its not fair on her to suffer, plus she has a huge swelling on her side and have just discovered bruising on her belly which hasn't been there before. DS1 who was on shift has got away and on his way home, DS2 is in Manchester and at a lose what to do. Im in tears but just looking for the strength to be able to do the right thing for her.

I am so sorry. Loosing a dog (any pet I would imagine) is heartbreaking, they are such a big part of the family x

I'm so sorry, it truly is heartbreaking! However it is also the biggest act of love knowing when they are ready and helping them be free from pain.

My heart goes out to you, you will know when the time is right even if you don't want to admit it to yourself. Take care xx

I really feel for you, its the worst part of owning a beautiful baby, the letting go.

If your little one is still eating and going to the toilet, that's great, but when that goes, you know its time.

We are struggling with the loss of our boy, he was never ever a dog, that is the worst when they are really something special..

Be thinking of you and sending lots of love. xx

I feel for you,we are in same position. Just this minute walked in from vet, our nearly 13 year old German Shepherd x started to collapse 2 weeks ago,its her back legs. She's just had 3rd session of lazer treatment this week and is having xray tomorrow. It's so hard as I know shes getting older and don't want her to suffer, it's so sad as shes fine in every other way.
They're are definitely a huge part of the family, cant bare the thought of life without her. Sending you a cyber hug ❤

It's sad but you know it's time, my son and his family had to say goodbye yesterday to theirs , she was 16. I cried all day.
Its horrible, I feel for you
