Arriving late DDP help
 

Hi,
I am landing at MCO on the 17th at 11:30pm and will be checking into Disney’s All Star Sports Resort at approximately 1am so that would be the 18th.
Do I receive DDP credits for the 17th even though I check in on the 18th?

Depends whether you are booked to stay from the 17th. The dining credits are provided for each night of your stay, thus if your booking is for your first night to be on the 17th then you will receive the dining credits for that night, even if you check in at 1am on the 18th. However, If your booking starts on the 18th, then you won’t receive dining credits for the 17th.

Also you will have to checkout at 11am at the latest, but any unused credits remain valid until midnight

Presumably given your late arrival you’re booked to stay from the 17th so yes, you would get credits for that night too.

The easiest way of working it out is if say you’ve booked 10 nights then you get 10 dining credits for the dining plan you’ve booked. Credits are redeemable up until midnight of the day you check out.

Same as Lisa, I’m assuming that if you’re checking in at 1am on the 18th, it’s because you have booked your first nights’ stay from 17th. In that case, you will have credits for that night, regardless of whether you check in just before midnight, or an hour after.

As Tinkermom says, the easiest way to calculate it is based on how many nights you have booked.

Your official check in day must be the 17th? Otherwise you are going to be hanging around without a room for fourteen hours. As said assuming you are officially booked in for 17th you will get the credits.
