New Amsterdam (new ER-style show on NBC/amazon prime)

watched the first episode of NEW AMSTERDAM yesterday. really enjoyed it, will be watching more tonight! NBC renewed it for a second season last week, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon :)

its basically a modern version of ER kinda crossed with house and has sock from reaper and martha from dr who in it... the blurb says:

I saw the first episode when we were in LA last September. Looked good. You've reminded me to watch. :thumbs-up

We've binge watched about 6 episodes over the last few days and have enjoyed. Dr Max certainly fits a lot into his day!

Does anyone watch Blacklist? I can't help but see Dr Max as Tom Keane!

Yes I’ve been watching it as aired in the US, really enjoyed it and although it is a hospital drama it’s got a different spin on it.

i loved ER and house, but really couldn't be bothered with greys anatomy and chicago hope, so this could go either way. we'll see... it's promising so far though!

ok, so i was three episodes in, and liking it, but starting to get sick of how sentimental it was all the time, too many scenes with coldplay on in the background, if you get what i mean? it's a hospital drama, not sodding "this is us"

but then episode 4 reeled me back in. that's the sort of show i wanted. loads of action!

will see how things go, but as long as they keep a decent balance, i'll stick with it.

my favourite characters so far are sock (tyler labine, the psych guy) and the indian doctor. they are a fantastic pairing! :)

Tom Keane, I thought that was him! Only saw a trailer today but it looks good so might give it a shot after I’ve finished binge watching 30 Rock.

I put it my list last week. I liked him in The Blacklist.
