How do I clear Amazon searches to hide christmas shopping?

Just that really - I keep getting an amazon advert with all of the things that I'm looking to get the kids for christmas in the ads on the right when using the laptop. How can I get rid of this? I'm sure it's quite simple, but so am I :confused2.

You could try clearing all your cookies or search history. Hope it works!

Using a private window (Safari) or incognito window (Chrome) should do the trick.

I regularly lose these to ensure some of my more, ahem, adventurous browsing doesn't come back to haunt me.

Scroll to base of page in Amazon, View Edit browsing. Follow link. Then clear cache etc in whatever browser you use.

Even easier than clearing all of your cookies/etc.

On the Amazon website, just click on yourname's Amazon on the top banner on the screen.
It then allows you to view browsing history and you can delete all or individual items as you wish.
