Is this a good price?
 

Hi, I've been trying to find the best theme park tickets for next year. We're wanting Universal and Disney combo tickets for 2 weeks. I think the best ones are from American Attractions £2828 (£707 each - as we're all adults apparently!) including the premium payment protection. When I was pricing up for this year, in the past I thought they were around the £3000 mark so thought this was a fair price. What do you think? 😊

Does the premium payment protection include full refund if you have to cancel, its a lot of money to pay out in this current situation. If you are buying stand alone tickets I would wait until you know that you are certain to travel. What is the benefit of buying them now as opposed to keeping the money in the bank and buying a couple of weeks before you travel ?

I wasn't sure if I waited if the price would go up. If we cancelled at any point would loose the protection payment fee £60.

So I guess you weigh up the cost of losing the payment protection fee agaist possible rises in ticket prices.

Another thing to think about I suppose is that currently you have to attach your ticket to your MDE so you can book the parks you want to visit (limited capacity and no park hopping allowed) but who knows what the system will be when you want to travel.

If you are happy with the ticket price and comfortably with possible lose of the protection fee then I guess it is sensible to buy the tickets then you can get your park days booked.

First off I'm not sure if it's a good price or not but a "Combo ticket" is just them (& others) sticking 2 different tickets together so it's just as easy to buy one from them & the other from someone cheaper IYKWIM For instance Disney Direct are usually pretty competitive on their pricing if you then factor in that you generally can get cashback through Quidco/Topcashback etc then you may have a better deal.
