Hi. Anyone disabled and just back.
Hi everyone. On our last trip in March the Handicapped line at MCO had been taken out and people in wheelchairs had to queue with everyone else. Virgin Special Assistance insist it has been put back. Could anyone please confirm or deny this if you have returned in April ?
Thank you. |
I am following, hopefully someone can advise.

I’d be interested to know this too.

Sorry not recent, but more recent than your last trip.
In December there was definitely not a separate line. We ended up at the back of the main line! |
No, there was no separate line in April when we came through MCO = process was over an hour long!

We where advised to ask the staff in the arrival hall and they can direct you. We did this in December and they sent us through one of the resident lines ( to the left as you enter the hall) If we hadn't asked we would have been in the regular que.

When we were there in March they said that there was a wheelchair line, but after asking and explaining problems DD has we were allowed to use it. X

I wonder if it depends on who's on duty, we arrived in March and there was no wheelchair line. Without asking we were pulled out of the regular line and taken to the front. This also happened last November too.

This year for the first time we have treated ourselves to PE seats so one of the perks of this I understand is first off the plane but because I have requested special assistance I’ll have to be last off the plane and therefore at the back of the line.
Before they did the alterations we went through in the wheelchair line. |
We arrived back yesterday from mco
Yes I can confirm that the wheelchair line is there it’s on the left hand side when you queue up it is well signed you can’t miss it It can be used for any kind of disabilities including hidden disabilities We used it yesterday! |
