We go May 18. We have not yet got Discovery Cove tickets yet. Do they normally have offers on Black Friday and if so who does them?

They have already emailed me with offers, but beware, they have to be used before a certain date. March 18 I think!

I don't think there was a particularly great offer on DC though, more SeaWorld and aquatic.

The Discovery Cove offer is, according to the email sent out so far, not time restricted and up to $110 off but ... the wording is unclear as to what tickets that applies as it just says

As mentioned above, there's up to $110 off the price of Discovery Cove admission. Last year, I remember some DIBBers thought it was a bit of a bargain.

I was wondering what is a ‘gift admission package’?

Is that just standard entry or dies this include a dolphin swim?

I’ve just found the gift packages description on the DC website.

It’s basically commits to buying the ticket without stipulating a date, so your gift recipient can choose when they go. There are 2 price levels, one which allows booking on any day and the other has dates blocked out I.e. Easter time and from 11/6 through to end of August

This may suit us because we go in May, if there is $110 off the standard price of $254 then this makes it a bargain of around £108 for a swim ticket 😲

So only good if you want to visit before middle March next year?

For my Easter dates the Gift Ultimate Swim Tickets are $354, versus the $290 for the actual date I want to go (31/3). Whilst $110 off the $354 is a beneficial saving it isn't off the $290 I've already paid and got my chosen date guaranteed.
