Visitor Toll Pass from MCO

Hi

I'm already here but going to collect a second car from Hertz at MCO tomorrow, can I easily collect a VTP near the car hire booths, I didn't fly in to MCO so not sure where the collection point is?

I assume drop off will be easy if not flying out of MCO as well?

Thanks

Collection is in the terminal, just where you'd leave the car rental counters and go across to the garage.

There are bins to drop the pass into as you leave the garage and cross to the terminal.

The collection point is a small desk in the terminal, near the hire car desks. Drop off is a post box as you enter the terminal, down the tunnel as you exit the lift from the car park. ,

In Garage B it was by the Alamo desk.

Great stuff, thanks all.

I'll try and book one for tomorrow then :)

Are you taking the car back to MCO if not flying out from there? They charge $10 if you don't return the tag, so not worth making a special trip to leave it.

There was a box at surface level as leaving A to cross the road - apparently there are several of them in various places.

I.am taking car back to MCO, I've rented it for 4 days from the Hertz adrenaline range, it's useless as a car for my family :)

I've just encountered a problem though, I collect the car at 7am but VTP only opens at 9am by the looks of it. Might have to delay pickup for a few hours.

While I think it was pretty brilliant, I wouldn’t change plans for it - unless you’re planning to use a huge number of tolls.

You know what I was thinking the same just now, I'd be saving $20 which is nothing, if the opportunity presents itself tomorrow I'll do it if not, oh well :D
