Best time to book sept 2019 flights
Is it cheaper to book sept 2019 flights when they are released at 11 months out or worth waiting until the sales at Christmas/new year?
Any advice? |
I booked my September 2019 flights last month with TC. Flying direct from MAN - MCO.
4 adults, Economy seats, 1 extra luggage inbound 23kg, (for all my shopping :d:) seat reservation paid £2,224. I was happy with that :thumbs-up |

I wouldn't pay more than £450 for September time with Virgin/BA (including a bag). They will come up for that price at some point. Just keep an eye on them once they've been released. Set up an alert on skyscanner.

I book mine a couple of weeks before we go, always get a good price bur it is a bit nail biting. Always check flight tinetables to make sure theres multiple airlines and airports on the day i want.

I have booked on 18 dec 2017 for my Tickets of 28 sept 2018.
With BA/AA (AMS -> LHR -> JFK -> MCO) and back with BA (MCO -> LGW -> AMS) it only costed me €380 each (~333 GBP) Seems that booking early is a great deal :) |
The BA sale around Christmas is usually very good especially for flydrive.
The last couple of years we've had great flydrive prices flying from Glasgow to Gatwick and onto both MCO and Tampa. For this year we found the BA price a bit higher and flight times were not as suitable as previous years. We are flying Thomas Cook this year and paid around £940 for 2 of us in February. I've continued to monitor prices and they've since dropped to about £800. Prior to booking they were looking for close to £1400 and when the price dropped we booked. I think for next year we will wait until June before booking and hopefully get closer to £800? |
