Christmas dinner - Yorkshire pudding?

So bit of last minute nonsense going on here. Kids campaigning for Yorkshire pudding on traditional Christmas dinner.

We regularly have them with any roast rather than just beef but they don't go on a traditional Christmas plate with all the trimmings (in my head anyway).

EDIT.

thank you all for voting.

Yorkshire pudding makes any roast dinner.

Surprise them, Yorkshire puds in a bowl in the middle, jug of gravy - help themselves.

I got some Waitrose ones with horse radish sauce or something :blush:and roast beef in them. My kids love them , but we rarely eat them at any other time.

I voted “ Yes- why not “ but only because there wasn’t an “ absolutely! definitely! - best thing apart from pigs in blankets!” selection 😉😂

We always have Yorkshire Puddings with a Christmas dinner.

To be honest I can’t believe your actually asking the question. I thought it was a given

Err what a question to ask, of course Yorkshires go on your Christmas Dinner... I'm doing gammon though tomorrow but turkey on boxing day at our Xmas Dinner at my mums and she will also be doing Yorkshires... I'm from Yorkshire though we were weaned on em when most kiddies had farleys rusks 😂😂😂

Yes! If there’s gravy/roast potatoes/veg then a Yorkshire pudding belongs on the plate too.

pepsicube 24 Dec 19 10:50 AM

We don’t - there’s rarely enough room on the plate 🤣🤣🤣
But I’m sure I’d find room if necessary.
