Anyone off to Glastonbury festival ?
Any other Dibbers going ?
Am so excited but sooooo hoping it's not a muddy one. |
No, but wishing you a dry one. We are just back from Download Festival and the mud was ankle deep and like quicksand. But didn’t stop us from having a great time.

i have to say i was tempted this year, but after the download mudbath (which was pretty tame in comparison to glastonbury 97/98/2007) i'm glad i made the decision in 2008 to stop doing the larger festivals (i did reading/leeds/glasto every year from 93-2007) and spend my money on a holiday to florida instead. it's just too expensive for such a high risk of bad weather ruining things...
good luck though, hope the ground dries up a little before everyone arrives! i'll be watching on iplayer with an icy cold bottle of champagne in my home cinema on my recliner sofa  |
my son is playing with his band fun lovin crime writers so hoping the weather stays good for them

Have a feeling it will be ankle deep already 😂 |
Luckily we aren't actually camping in the festival itself, as we are working for tickets, so should be able to get dried out at the end of the day.
Never done a wet one before though so will be an experience...🌂🌂☔☔☔ |
Ooh Purple where are you working? I'm volunteering this year with Oxfam, nervous but excited!

We're on one of the gates.😁. Can get a festival bus down. Where are you staying ? Wish it wasn't going to be wet, but it'll be so much fun. How many hours do you have to do ? X |
We have our own Oxfield! We have to do 3 x 8 hour shifts, I've torn a muscle ligament so mine might be a bit shorter. My first time going, and I'm going alone so the nerves are really kicking in now!

Oh bless you, hope it's not too painful. Remember seeing all the Oxfam guys last time. Yeah, we do 3x8 hour shifts too. Doing Weds, Thurs and Sun 8-4, so not too bad. |
