Christmas Markets and more! Berlin Nov/Dec 2018
 

Welcome to my latest mini trip report :wave:
As I didn't do a pre trippy I'll give a brief run down of the cast and how this trip came about.
A slight change to the usual cast as this trip was to be a girls only break for myself, my Mum Sue and my sister Helena with Mum very kindly treating us. There was a lot of going back and forth as to what city we would visit but after finding a great deal through British Airways for flights and a 5* hotel in Berlin it was an easy choice to make. We are all history geeks so that just confirmed the decision! We have been wanting to visit a European Christmas market for years now so were very grateful and excited to be going.
Mum paid £330 each for direct flights with BA from London Heathrow to Berlin and 3 nights at the Westin Grand from Friday 30th November to Monday 3rd December which we felt was great value.
I then did my usual research and trip report reading, so thank you to both CrispyA and Goldia for their very in depth trip reports which really helped me in my planning! I pre booked the free Reichstag Dome tour for the Friday at 5pm and a free walking tour with Sandemans for the Saturday morning at 10am. So that was my planning done we just had to sit tight and wait! Oh and regular readers of my reports will be pleased and probably very unsurprised to know lots of shopping took place :pgig:
