Crystal Palace

Does anyone know whether they clean up between breakfast and lunch? Strange question i know! Last time we had lunch there i loved everything about it except for the fact that there was food all over the floor under our table, which i found really off putting. If I could snag the beginning of the lunch sitting would it be tidier or would there just be stuff left over from breakfast under our table instead?! Or were we just unlucky? We will definitely go back regardless but i might eat more if there wasn't food underfoot! I should add it didn't occur to me to ask our server to sweep it away as she was clearly rushed off her feet and i don't even know whether that would be acceptable (though if we're paying 100 quid for lunch i guess it should be?!) Many thanks.

I don't think there's any major clean up but I have in other Disney restaurants seen the servers use a pan/brush or a carpet sweeper type thing. The thing is, this is Disney and I'm sure if you'd commented they would have cleaned it up. I'm thinking perhaps you were unlucky.
Edit - I'm not keen on things like that either -DH thinks I'm a fusspot in that way!

I was there for late breakfast last year, so just before lunch started, didn't see any floor cleaning, just clearing tables, but the floors looked clean.
So yeah, could just have been a one off? 😁

The restaurant doesn't close between breakfast and lunch, we go for a late breakfast and get some of the lunch stuff too. They close one side of the serving line while they change the food over. I think you were a bit unlucky with the floor.

Thanks guys am thinking we were a bit unlucky. Still had a great time though and my 11 yr old LOVED the interactions so can't wait to go back. And if it's really gross (cause trust me i'm no clean freak) i will ask very nicely for it to be swept. And leave a good tip 😃!

I'm with you on this. It's embarrassing to have to ask wait staff to sweep so that you're not standing on food, gross.

Glad it's not just me! I'm very easy going but i think it reminds me of school dinners... !
