I don’t understand my points!
 

I really don’t understand what is going on with the points in my account.

After sorting out extending points and then booking for January I had 42 left as expiring May 2022 but when I went onto my account it also shows 2 Riviera contracts with 62 points each, I don’t know where these points came from. :confused2

I went on and booked a 1 bed at Bay Lake Tower for 1 night using 33 points leaving 9 from the 42 points I had left and assumed the 124 Riviera points were some sort of glitch and would disappear but they are still showing :confused2

So my account has 133 points showing as expiring end of May 2022 but as far as I am aware I should only have 9 so how did I get an extra 124? :confused2:confused2

When is your use year?
Have you made your January booking using current points and need to ring when your UY trips over to allocate those extended points into the January booking? The ones sitting in Riviera are the extended points and will only be able to move into a current booking prior to May 22 if and when you have moved over your new UY.

I have an April use year (162 points) and banked and extended 2019 and 2020 points. Over the past year Member Services assisted with points as booking got changed. The last time they made the January booking for me, which should have used 282 points but CM said they needed to borrow 20 from the 21 use year, even though 42 should still have been left from previous years.

I was to phone back in Sept to get my points returned. Supervisor returned my 20 taken from the 2021 use year, which I then banked. She then returned my 42 missing from 19/20 points. This all looked fine, I had 42 points left expiring end of May 22, so I decided to book a 1 bed at Baylake Tower, even though we will still have the room at Kidani, to use up points.

So now my account shows 2 Riviera Accounts with 62 points each plus 9 left from the 42 AKV leaving me a total of 133 expiring end of May 22, however, by my calculations I thought I should only have 9 left.

Andi, I think you need to ring, as I can’t work it out without knowing the points used for each booking.
I have a feeling the Riviera points are your other extended points and as you have April UY these are stuck to be moved inbetween 1st April and end of May 22, but you have no booking to move them to? I think you need to confirm this with them, as you have used some of the extended points for the Jan BLT booking. Sorry if I don’t reply again but I am off oro our first non DCL crusie 😯
