Using this year's tix and next year to get annual pass?

A family member is in Old Key West at the moment.

They are having a ball. According to a will call cast member, they can upgrade their current ticket and next year's tickets that they have booked for the free dining plan to upgrade to an annual pass.

Is this right? Will it impact the free dining next year?

Thanks

Well I would guess that what the CM actually means is that they can upgrade both but to 2 separate AP, they can't upgrade next years yet as it isn't valid, if like the rest of us, they have booked FD then they have only paid a deposit so it wouldn't make sense to allow them to "use" that Ultimate as you could just canx after buying AP. TBH I don't see what they gain ? Some discounts? An AP (Plat+) is approx £1080 & 2 Ultimates is less than this

They can upgrade this year's ticket for a fee, then they would need to take next year's ticket off the booking (assuming they have only paid a deposit) and then they would lose their dining plan.

So they would need to weigh it all up.
