Do Annual Passholder cards work instead of Magic Bands?

Can anyone confirm that we will be able to use our Annual Passholder cards instead of Magic Bands? We are staying at Coronado Springs on the night we arrive (yay!) before driving down to St Pete the next day after 'doing' a park. Only problem is our Magic Bands are in the condo in St Pete...
Although I did wonder if we'd be given Magic Bands at the hotel? TIA

If you do online check in for CSR you can select and customise your magic bands.

I saw that disneypars, but I think they would then send them to our St Pete address!

I don’t see why you can’t use your annual pass cards. Worst case scenario you can buy magic bands in the store but I don’t think you’d need too.

Yes you can use your Annual Pass card instead of a Magic Band. I've forgot my Magic Band a couple of times before and always just used my Annual Pass card instead.

Won't you get Magic Bands with your CS booking or is that only if you purchase tickets with your room booking?

Unless you have selected no magic bands then you will get new magic bands when you check in.

That’s what I was hoping!

You will have to get some at check in or you won’t be able to open your room door.

If they already had an AP card they can use that as the key to their room. In fact any magic band or rfid enabled card linked to your MDE account will act the same way.
