Isle Of Arran - Brodick

Our favourite hotel on Arran is Auchrannie resort in Brodick, and we stayed here for the rest of our trip. We had a few wanders along the bay, and popped along to Brodick Castle one day - so quiet!

Wonderful. My late husband & I loved Brodick Castle & Arran so much we joined the National Trust when there & that was 23 years ago. Still NT Memeber today because of that. Thanks for posting, a lovely reminder for me.

Great photos. We went last year and stayed in Brodick, and had a meal at auchrannie hotel. Very nice. Just been to Oban this year and that was great too.

Thankyou - we always enjoy an Auchrannie stay. DS got married there, and most of the families / friends rented the Lodges or stayed in the resortfor a few days (it was a great long weekend!) so it's special to our family.

Looks glorious!

We also love an Auchrannie stay, we went every year between Christmas and New Year for a few years but stopped last year as it was becoming so expensive for just a couple of nights.

I'd love to go to Arran at Xmas - DS and/or DiL are always working or on call though, and when you factor in the weather and the 4.5 hour drive up to Ardrossan its not worth it.
