Crumpets

Hi all I've got a question can you take crumpets with you and have them in your luggage

I dont know the answer, but I love the question! 😂

Are they the small thick crumpets with the holes or the big flat ones more like a pancake with holes?

Either way, I’m sorry but I don’t know the answer to your question, I was just wondering. I wish I hadn’t started thinking about it, I could murder crumpet slathered in butter now :)

I do hope so - we like the square toasting crumpets from Iceland and hope to take some next time.

Aren't they classified as bakery? As they are cooked but you just warm them.

I honestly can't think of a reason that you can't take them with you. They're not meat, fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds or dairy which are the biggest no go food groups.

Mmm. Not sure if those are crumpets or pikelets.

Either way it is illegal to take them into the US without marmite.

Guest 13 Jan 19 02:18 AM

Oh. If you do take marmite do declare it as it is ok but Bovril isnt and it looks the same on the scanners
