The Falcon Build
And it begins.
Firstly I am impressed with the box presentation. On opening the box the manual is huge and heavy. I feel like I am doing a workout turning the pages. I love the four individual boxes with the image making up the Falcon. It is a nice touch to have the classic film quotes on the boxes too. On to pack one. |
Pack one makes up the basic support frame.
Which after several hours ends up like this. Quite a size already. |
Pack two makes the six legs. Just sorting the parts takes a while. I did make all six legs at the same time. So sorting and building x6 rather than one by one.
The result is this. Which my wife thinks looks like an oil rig :) |
Best of... Simon. That'll keep you out of mischief for a few days! :pgig:
|
Pack three.
This builds two Porgs, C3P0 and Chewbacca. It also adds detail inside the ship. Including the chess table and consoles. And also adds the slope for the front centre with a seventh foot. |
It's currently keeping DH Ds1and DGD very busy never seen the Christmas table cleared as quick and the dishwashers loaded
|
Epic. Just epic...
|
That looks amazing. You used go be able to buy a large Lego death star which was rare and sold on eBay for a few grand. Someone on You tube did a stop motion assembly video who must have taken a lot of patience.
I will be following progress on this with interest! |
Pack four adds Hans and Liea.
And more internal rooms with some great detail. |
Is this a current model? If so what is it's Lego number?
