What to do on Independence Day (night time)

Hello all,

We have 3 days in Orlando (long story) and have tickets for SeaWorld only (also have DC but that's not relevant).

We will arrive in Orlando (downtown) around 2pm and International Drive around 3pm on 4th July. My question is what are we best to do that night? Citywalk? Disney Springs? Is there anything on at SeaWorld that would be good to go to for Independence Day?

Thanks!
Anthony

We were wondering what to do too as think all the parks will be mega busy. We are leaning towards Disney springs in the hope there will be some entertainment on 🤗

We won't have any park tickets outwith SW which is our issue. Not a huge fan of Downtown Orlando but wondering if it'll be different that day... Possibly stick with the safer bet of DS or CW. The only thing that is tugging me towards SeaWorld that evening is if we're able to get on one or 2 of the rollercoasters that night it'll mean we're not desperate to fit too much in on the day we do go of that makes sense!

We went a few years ago and headed to Lake Eva (Haines City) to a local event there called Thunder On the Ridge. They have a FB page. The event starts at about 3pm and they have bands that perform on stage, food stalls etc and then a fireworks display at night. We really enjoyed it - a proper authentic 4th July celebration like how the locals do it!

While we were there we heard loads of ads on the radio for the Red Hot and Boom celebration at Altamonte Springs. It sounded great and definitely worth a look into
