If you had to invite 3 guests to dinner ...

If you had to invite 3 guests (dead or alive) to dinner who would it be and why?

I’ll start ;

Stephen Fry - humorous and intelligent

Mrs Thatcher - id want to hear about her time whilst PM

Robin Williams - because he was brilliant

Who would you invite ?

Sir Ian Botham ...have to have some top notch Red Wine!
Billy Connolly circa 1990 to enjoy the Red Wine
Winston Churchill..he can have whatever he wants.

George Michael - I loved the man and his music

Sir David Attenborough - such a fascinating life and a passion for the world

Prince - another musical talent who left us too early and he seemed to have a shy, but interesting personality

David Attenborough - because I love animals and could talk all day about them.

Jennifer Anniston - because I love friends.

Leonardo DiCaprio - because he cares about the plant and I just love him 🤣

Walt Disney... no explanation needed
Betty Callaway ( Torvill and Dean's coach )... I'm a massive skating fan
Robin Williams... he would be so much fun
All 3 are now dead ,so if I want some live ones
Chris Howarth...skating coach and commentator
Bradley Walsh... for the fun
Gary Barlow... he could sing after the food

Walt Disney...just because

Freddie Mercury...would love to have met him and think he would be great entertainment

Jane McDonald... I just love her and as a fellow Yorkshire lass I think we would get on well.

Brian Sewell: I just loved the man, he was so interesting and his appreciation for art was always mesmerising for me. I loved his throttled vowels, I often wondered if his voice box collapsed from exhaustion at the end of the day.

Sewell himself likened his voice to that of an “Edwardian lesbian". I'm happy to take his word for it.

Doris Day: She would have to sing for her supper. A fabulous all round entertainer, they don't make 'em like that anymore. She worked with everyone and would have fascinating tales and insights to tell.

Brian Wilson: A musical magician, to have him tickle the ivories in his own inimitable style and tease out the glorious melodies he creates is my idea of bliss.

I wouldn't close the door to Kander & Ebb or Donna McKechnie, either.

Eric Clapton
Margaret Thatcher
Diana, Princess of Wales

Marilyn Monroe - To find out and put to rest what really happened - and I bet she was a hoot

Elvis Presley - Because he was the King (and as above, having been to Graceland I am still not convinced) - and he could provide the music

Al Pacino - after dinner entertainment
