Our DAS pass experience
Just to let anyone who is wondering how difficult or stressful obtaining a DAS pass is.
We entered at magic kingdom about 8am for park opening and went straight to guest services. As we entered a cast member with an I pad asked if she could help - I said we would like to see if we could get a DAS for my daughter .She moved us to one side of the door and asked which daughter ? We told her and she said that’s great let me get a photo and we will sort that - not a single question as to why it was needed etc and we where done in less than 5 mins. I had worried for months about getting it and had notes of what to say and doctors letters etc as in my mind I need to justify it as my daughter show no visible signs of her issues but nothing was needed and having it helped so much even with the small crowds during our stay. Anyone who like me is stressing about it - don’t. Also there are blue guest experience umbrellas all over the parks now which you can use to get the DAS return time for any ride which makes life so much easier. |
That sounds really positive, thanks for sharing x

That's good to know, thank you! We are hoping for one when we go for our youngest daughter, I've been thinking about it for ages, about what to say etc!

Thanks for this info!
Do you mean the blue umbrellas can issue DAS return times for any rides in the park or do you have to go to the ride entrance for the ride you want a return time? I’ve never done it before so no idea! |
Wow, the blue umbrella thing would be very helpful esp for rides like FOP so we don't all have to schlep through the crowds to get the return time.
