Premier Inns And The Meal Deal

For those who take advantage of the Meal Deal it's worth checking your existing bookings or considering this food offer for your next visit.

My enquiries are showing for the Bath Road Heathrow one and possibly others the cost for 2 people has dropped from the original circa £52 down to £37.98p

Now that's a good reduction and still includes a drink as well.

Good tip Tom. Thanks.

We love this deal and the Bath Road PI.

Is this because the VAT level has dropped briefly? We had a Travelodge booked in Blackpool and when we checked, its price had dropped too. Not sure if the dates apply to bookings or stays.

From the Gov website "This notice cancels and replaces Notice 709/3 (June 2013) and provides guidance on the introduction of the temporary 5% reduced rate of VAT that will apply between 15 July 2020 and 12 January 2021."

We stayed at Gatwick north a few weeks ago, and was very disappointed on arrival to find they were not offering the meal deal! They had a reduced meal and the prices seemed to have gone up. We accepted this due to the current situation but cancelled the booking for breakfast.

We were overnight in the Bath Rd Prem Inn a couple of weeks back.

They were doing breakfast to order, rather than buffet and it was not of the usual variety.

Evening meals were ordered at the bar and were extremely limited in nature with the restaurant closed.

I am not sure if this arrangement has changed or if not, when it will.

I much prefer breakfast cooked to order. Can’t stand lukewarm gloopy fried eggs!

No black pudding either at that location for some reason
