Planning a non-park trip

We have flights and a townhouse booked for October - we were originally planning on a few park days and a few water park & minigolf days, but we’re now scrapping all that and trying to plan days out that will be easier to socially distance, etc. (assuming we actually go!).

Any suggestions?

We did a boat trip up the St Johns river a few years ago and would do that again. :)

If you have a car we love a trip to the beach (East or West coast) last one we went to was treasure island. Tim Tracker on youtube has been doing a few vlogs recently on a few nature trail parks around the orlando area which look good as well and with going in October it will be a good time to do that as it won't be as humid.

That time of year as well you might be able to find some Maze trails in the corn fields as well. All outside so social distancing should be possible.

Hope this helps. We are hopefully going in September so are looking for other things to do as well.

Winter park is lovely for a visit, the scenic boat tour was great.
Celebration is always great for a wander. Couple of visits to the beach, Disney springs, Disney resort hopping/skyliner. Pool and shopping days. We are booked for October too (the 8th) and have a week at universal then a week in a villa. We may give the parks a miss too and just do a villa holiday if we can get there.
