How to choose park days (Aug 21) when you have no idea of busy days/opening hours?

It is just going to be pot luck isn't it? And hoping that things change, and more information is available closer to the time? I am going to book the days, because I can, but it does feel a little pointless to do it so early.

I feel adrift without a planning guide - no way of knowing what restrictions will be in place, what restaurants will be open, whether or not park-hopping will be allowed (the cast member I spoke to last time I changed our booking told me that water parks wouldn't count in the 'no park-hopping' rule).

I am not a planner, but I do miss being able to try and work out what we are doing when, drawing on other people's experience. Planning with no information is totally unsatisfying :pgig:

Yep, I think it really is just Pot luck at the minute. We’ve booked for Aug 2021 days with no particular rhyme or reason behind which one we go to and when. Hopefully by then they may have introduced extra magic hours and FPs but who knows if/ when that will be the case 😩.

I never use busy day guides or decide park days by park hours in normal circumstances so it makes no odds to me. I've just booked next year's days dependant on where I'll be.
