Made a mad March dash to buy a home in Florida.

A place in the sun for our fast approaching retirement years :omg:

Palm Coast to be precise.

Which wont be a surprise to readers of the Bayous to Beaches Trippy from Oct 2019. ;)
I know.

Who does that ? Buys a house in Florida two weeks before a national lockdown :omg:- but little did we know at the time ...

After all the whirlwind excitement of the trip, its been plain Corona crazy and we have had quite a few moments wondering what we have gone and done.:erm:

But this cant last forever so after a few months of it all being quiet we have recently picked up our dream home plans again and are slowly, very slowly, inching forward.

Flights to Florida resuming would be a definite help here :confused2 but we have plenty of planning to occupy us In the meantime. :thumbs-up

So if you are curious to see our house buying adventure...

There will be choices

There will be cocktails

There will also be an Ikea

And lots
and lots
and lots

of house fittings type stuff

Or if you Maybe just want to shed a tear seeing the VA bubble one last time

March 2nd Pre travel day

March 3rd Travel day - VirginAtlantic - and seats in the bubble, eep :D. Checking in at Legacy vacation Resorts, Palm Coast

March 4th - Palm Coast . Show(house) time . And 96 pages of options to choose from.

March 5th- We Wanna see ya in IKEA - shopping in Jacksonville and St Augustine

March 6th- Palm coast . Dining at Denny’s. Sealing the Deal, Flagler Beach and spotting vikings in the European Village

March 7th-Palm Coast. Its Saturday - just like home - sports bars and DIY stores. Brass Tap and Lowes feature :pgig:

March 8th - Palm Coast and Orlando . Well Howdy neighbour. A last look at our land and onto Orlando outlets and Millers .

March 9th - Burger and Pie for breakfast - must be coming home day.:( BubbleTime on our final flight VirginAtlantic -

March 10th - and then it all went pear shaped and what next :nonono:
