We had had dinner and breakfast here. Both were fab and a blend of buffet and a la carte. For 1 credit it's great to meet the princesses and have great food.

We had breakfast here, the breakfast was fine, although having done a few more in Disney it was a kind of similar breakfast throughout. However there is the buffet style area that you can select some various foods, although we are quite fussy eaters, so we didn't really delve too much into the buffet food available. However the Breakfast platter they bring was fine and were more than happy to top up. The character interaction was good, as well as a photo opportunity with Belle on entering, although there wasn't much time to interact with her on our visit. The other Princesses went round the tables and interacted well enough. Recommended visit, although personally I preferred Cinderella's Royal Table.

Absolutely love this restaurant had dinner here 3 times and planning a 4th next year. The atmosphere is brilliant, good character interaction and food good. On arrival you get to have a free photo taken with a princess. Cant wait to go back.

We've done this a few times as our little Princess loves it and yours will too.

It's always felt expensive for what it was - starter from a cold buffet, your choice of main, and a sharing dessert plate for your table. You used to have to pay extra for your entrance Princess photo, but it's now included.

A variety of Princesses will visit your table for photos and autographs and that is the main draw here.

On out last visit we had a great Norwegian waiter who displayed some unusual un-Disneylike cynicism once he'd caught our sense of humour. This really added to our visit as we were in stitches a lot of the time!

We had breakfast at this restaurant with my three young nieces.

There was quite a queue around the podium but we were seen to quickly and didnt have to wait long to be called for our table.

The girls had a photo taken with Sleeping Beauty then we were sat at the table where they swiftly brought us several platters of food, plus we helped ourselves to other food from the counter including fruit, strawberries coated in chocolate, croissants and bread and a hot selection including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. We also had pure orange juice and hot drinks.

Throughout our meal the princesses came out and went table to table. As our table was right at the door where they come out we always got seen first which the girls loved. The princesses took their time and the kids loved the experience.

Would definitely go again just for the interaction with the princesses, the food was good and going early meant we then had the whole day in Epcot.

We had dinner at 7.55pm. 2 adults, 1 child and 2 infants. We were kept in courtyard for nearly 30 minutes after our ADR, drinks order only taken once and when we asked for refills never arrived, main course was dropped on table before we had even finished starters - when asked if we could finish first server shrugged shoulders and walked off, desert arrived before we had started our main, we complained and manager spoke to servers but nothing changed. Meal quality average, not disney standards at all. Huge apology from Manager, blamed language barrier. Magic moment given and discount on meal.

Reading previous reviews, i can only assume that things have changed at this place. Its fantastic value at only one tsc per person. On entering you get a free photo taken with the princess on duty which is delivered to your table. You are served your drinks then its help yourself to a fantastic , cold buffet. You are then served a platter of hot food to share which will be filled up as often as you wish. All the princess visit your table for a chat, Snow white, who was realy funny, Jasmine, Belle, cinderella and they sign autograph books and have pics taken. All in all one of the most underated experiences of the character dining. I predict its popularity rising. You may book for lunch and dinner too. Get there 20 mins at least before your allotted time. We had a bit of a wait, even thiough we had a reservation. We went twice we enjoyed it so much.

We had dinner here in August (8.25pm). It was fantastic. If you use the Dining Plan it is only one credit. Much better value than Royal Table. We had a bit of a wait to get in (we did turn up early) but got in on time. DD5 had her photo taken with Belle then we were escorted to our table. Our server (Sebastian) was lovely. Everything was explained clearly. Starters were help yourself from the cold buffet (included prawns and smoked salmon - DDs favourites). Main course was chosen from a good range on the menu - I had pork chop with roast pots, OH had salmon with pots DD had chicken (real chicken not a thing hidden in breadcrumb). Dessert was served family style. They also had a really good wine selection. We had Rosemount Estate Shiraz. Princesses included Aurora, Cinderella, Snowwhite and Ariel. Ariel was amazing - she never shut up and played the part perfectly. We will definitely return.

The only reason to do this is to say you've done it and to meet the princesses . My dd9 loved it and got alot of attention from the princesses, i was like a yoyo in and out of my seat with the camera as the princesses kind of whizz around - but thats ok , thats what you go for . You meet Belle seperately in the entrance for a photo which they bring to your table . But the food at lunch was not nice in our opinion , we all left some of it . Dessert was delicious though !

Our meal got off to a bad start when, despite having a reservation, we were waiting outside in the heat for 30 minutes. It was also difficult to hear names being announced.

However, once inside, things improved significantly. DD was thrilled to meet Belle as you enter and have her picture taken (and yes - we bought copies), and we noticed that Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora and Mulan were circulating.

We all had a try of the appetizer buffet and although I do not like seafood, there was sufficient choice for all of us.

The main courses were very good - the Kjottkaker I had turned out to be a beef and pork pattie, but it was well seasoned and tasty. DW had the braised lamb (which I can confirm was very good as well) with DD going for the Pizza (all eaten so muct have been okay).

The dessert selection was excellant, and we managed to clear the plate without any problems.

Meanwhile, the princesses were circulating, and DD got photos and autographs with all of them first time round, then had another opportunity when they visited for a second time.

All in all, very good, the only downside being that there is very little waiting area in the shade.

This was booked as a treat for my daughter, who went like a lot of the girls dressed up as Belle. It was Belle she had her photo with which was luck but it was a lovely photo and at $32 I did not think it was too bad for the presentation of it and the extra photos you are given. The food was not that great to be honest. I had pasta with salmon and the salmon was very overcooked. As its Norwegian there was a lot of fishy things on the menu so if thats your taste then you will be fine. My daughter had pizza which looked like a microwaved one. The desert came on one plate - 3 different cakes. The desert was the best thing on the menu and it is pretty pricey. The princesses I feel are a bit rushed, they appear to be in a hurry in my opinion. Someone did come round to check that my daughter had seen all the Princesses they day we went it was Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Ariel. We did enjoy it but more for our daughter seeing the princesses than the food and would probably not visit again.

DD really enjoyed this breakfast. We had a 10.40am ADR which was late but was quite a good idea as it was a little less packed inside. DD had her photo taken with Aurora and we were shown to our table which was in the middle of the right-hand section and was a little too 'hemmed-in' for my liking. The food was good: family style but there was also a buffet with pastries, cold meats and cheeses, and fruit. DD met Belle, Snow White, Jasmine and Pocahontas and I was impressed to see that there were CMs stationed in each section, checking that each character had visited each table. We did purchase the photos (1 large + 4 small 6 x 4s) but it was a little pricey IMO.
All-in-all a good meal!

Rated our 2nd best character breakfast, on the list for next year. We saw Belle, Snow White, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan. The adults loved the cold buffet to start with but my 4 year old son wasnt that keen but the hot buffet that followed was enjoyed by all.

There were 5 of us - 3 adults and 2 girls aged 4 and 9. They loved the princess interaction, each one coming to the table and talking to the girls. The food for breakfast was ok, we liked it more than the girls, but the princess interaction made up for the food

This was the dining experience from hell. It was absolutey awful. Let me put it in context. I have over the years been the biggest proponent of Akershus and defended it to the hilt on various forums as we absolutely loved it. It used to be a total oasis in the middle of Epcot, serving the most wonderful food imaginable. The cold food was still fantastic. The range of cold fish and salads was as good as ever but the hot food has gone to pot completely and is almost inedible. Instead of the hot buffet of venison stew, and other hot tasty creations, now the food is served plated up and is of very poor quality. As for the desserts, they were slop on a plate. Akershus used to serve wonderful individual desserts such as the chocolate mousse longboat with a mango coulis or the kids paint your own shortbread troll. Now it is a scoop of 3 desserts on a plate. Even the presentation is lousy. The wonderful rice cream with loganberries is now served with a universally found strawberry gloop (another cost saving measure).
We had to stand outside in the pouring rain for 45 mins as there was just nowhere to hold the crowds. Inside the place was total mayhem. It was so noisy. I love character meals (I always go to at least 2) but now the tables in Akershus are so close together we could almost hear eack other breathe.
Why Disney had to destroy this restaurant which used to have the highest ratings and not leave it character free for the evening meal - I dont know. $$$$$s I suppose!
No one is happy as far as I can see. Those who arent fish fans complain and those who arent Princess fans complain. I wont go back until they at least make the evening meal character free and return to the wonderful menu they had before where the food was of the highest quality for a buffet. However that isnt going to happen.
The place was just one big mess and the food was an even bigger one!

Absolutely fantastic experience for our 5yo daughter. Each Princess spent plenty of time at our table for photos, video and chat. Food was very good with excellent and friendly staff. Dont know what TandCmum was expecting but we thought it excellent value for money. Our daughter still talks about it. Give it a try.

s we couldn't get a booking in the castle we made an ADR here for the princess dining. I planned it on our Epcot park day so the location was great to fit in with our plans.

The food wasn't brilliant (I compare to Crystal palace standards) and the princess interaction was a little disappointing. However, the breakfast was good fun and was enjoyed by my DD which was the main thing.
