We really enjoyed the Jambalaya here. Service was great and the corn bread service filled us too much for desserts. |

Excited about Disney

Poor food, poor service, extortionate prices.
Very disappointed by this. Never waste two DDP credits here again. |

Service was slow, food was mediocre to say the least. Menu was not appealing but we were hungry on our first night. Have vowed not to return, very surprised this is on Disney property! |

This isn't really a food review, we sat in here for a meal, but when we looked at the menu it didn't sound too great, a lot of fish which is fair enough but even the steak has crawfish, and it was very noisy, the bar is situated next to the restaurant and there was a kids entertainer on, were not moody grumpy people but just couldn't talk to each other with the noise so we left xxx |

We usually stay at French Quarter and sometimes visit this half of the Resort. The food has some different choices from the French Quarter and likewise are lovely.
One of our favourites was the Pot Roast!
Another thing we like about this restaurant is the deserts!
Definitely recommend here - Clean and Tidy, Good service. Just great! |

There seem to be a lot of reviews on here which are actually meant for the DDP help yourself rest. next door. This is a proper rest. where you are waited on, for luch and dinner only, it is not open for business at breakfast.
I heard a lot of people saying how nice the food was here although we didn;t actually go ourselves it looked great. |

Loved the food court, nothing better than starting off the day other than a croissant or two, ate here almost every morning and a few evening. Create your own pasta went down a treat rather than being given a set menu. DW just can't get enough of the Drink dispenser, seriously i think she may still be there. |

Sadly, this was (by far) our worst meal out of 2 weeks of the DDP.
Our waitress was very odd, I don't think she spoke English very well, or if she did she was very rude! The food we was served was cold... (and our 3rd choice because our first two were sold out). Dessert wasn't great (there was only 2 choices left). It wasn't especially late at night, maybe 8.30/9pm.
I won't be returning. :(
Maybe we hit a really bad night, but I won't be going back to find out. Sorry. |

You can see this is a moderate resort cafeteria - there is a bit more attention to detail than the value resorts in the place. The food was ok - what you'd expect from the resort cafeterias. |

Talk about a surprise. We almost cancelled out ADR here as we had been to some nice meals and only booked here as it was in our hotel.
Well the food was some of the best we had and the server was nice to. Really quite enjoyed the meal and would make a visit to POR to eat here if we ever did the dining plan again. |

We have eaten here on many occasions as we have stayed at this hotel 3 times and eaten here each time. The food is lovely and the staff very friendly and always make sure we have a meal here when we stay |

We dined here on the second night of our holiday. Our server was polite but tried very hard to push us to have the specials. I went for the fillet mignon. by US standards my meal was tiny. The steak was cooked Ok but i expected more for my money. My wife had the Jambalaya this was a much larger portion than mine mainly because of the rice! overall we were dissapointed with our first taste of Disney Dining. This is an OK place to dine if you are staying at Port Orleans resort but I wouldn't make a special trip to dine here |

Very dispointed here, we thought we would try here as we had dined at other resort restaurants and they where very good, wish we hadn't but to be honest our visit was marred by bad service, the table we had was far too small for 4 people, our server could barely speak english and we had to ive our order three time's, while we where eating our starter they brought out our main courses, the food itself was ok, but to be honest we won't return in a hurry |

There were about 20 of us and our servers were brilliant in looking after us.
It's a very open restaurant and so can be quite noisy.
Had a house salad as an appetizer and then pot roast for my main course but I don't believe it's currently on the menu but it was amazing - I saw the prime rib too and that looked worthy for next time I go.
Bread pudding is a must for dessert!
