This is a must do on every trip, I love sandwiches but these are the next level. Whether for lunch or sometimes for dinner if we've had a big lunch elsewhere, these are awesome, the selection is good and there are a variety of specials available. The only downside I've noticed is that the staff tend to be a bit grumpy! But it's a quick service so isn't the end of the world.

We spent the last few hours at Disney Springs and given the previous years quality of food on our flight home, we used some of our QSDP credits on a meal from here...thank goodness we did, the food on the flight was awful, but the sandwiches were great. Cant believe we have tried this before and will be doing it again next year...

I've never been a huge fan of sandwiches but after I'd read a few people mentioning how good Earl was here on the Dibb I knew that I had to try it.

The holiday turkey sandwich is to die for and me and my DH often drool over how good it was. The potato chips they sell here are really nice too.

Service is a little manic but friendly. A usually you would just get a buzzer, find a table and they would notify you when your sandwich is ready.

the bread is gorgeous and sort of crispy and the filling is amazing. On the three occasions I've been back I've only ever had the holiday turkey but it didn't disappoint.

I am officially a sandwich convert now!

My friend from work absolutely raves about this place and after several visits to Orlando, we finally gave it a bash. At the end of the holiday. Fools.

Delicious sandwiches which are well filled and very reasonably priced. They are made to order, which I know isn't a surprise to most but I wasn't sure if I could alter (no cheese for me please) the fillings and it was done without a problem.
We didn't sit in to eat but there was ample seating.
On the last day we ordered some to take on the plane. They travel surprisingly well!
We shall not be making the mistake of leaving our visit to the end of our holiday again.

Needless to say my friend, quite rightly, was full of "I told you so!" :D

Last year we visited the Earl of Sandwich on the recommendation of a family member. We queued for ages then, when we eventually reached the front of the queue, we enquired about the meat used in the sandwiches. The staff member taking the order confirmed to us that none of the meat was simply meat it was all reconstituted. With that news, we decided we didnt want to order and left.
This year, we noticed how quiet it was no queue so had second thoughts. Our family still insisted how wonderful it was so I thought how bad can it be? (my wife couldnt be persuaded) Actually, not bad at all! I suppose its similar to Subway, (they use reconstituted meat too), except that the sandwiches are a lot smaller and you cant choose your individual fillings you get what comes. A word of warning though. I chose the Chipotle chicken and avocado from the menu on the hoarding outside. I therefore went straight to the ordering point knowing what I wanted. It was nice enough .. nothing special .. but the sandwich had cheese and bacon in it, which was a bit of a surprise. My wife wanted me to take it back, but I didnt want to make a fuss. (I actually like cheese and bacon). Afterwards, doubting Id ordered the right thing, I went back inside to check the menu. Sure enough, the chipotle chicken and avocado was shown to have cheese and bacon. Thinking Id gone a little bonkers, I went back to the menu outside, there was no mention of cheese and bacon. So, when ordering, dont trust the menu outside. Check carefully on the inside menu or else you may get something you dont want. On the plus side, the chicken looked like the real thing. If the staff member was right, and its all reconstituted, it certainly would have fooled me. So, yes, Im sure most people will like this, the only problem was the misleading menu. I dont suppose Id go again though.

Absolutely love this gem! One of the main reasons we go into Disney Springs! The food is amazing, we have the soups, mac and cheese and turkey holiday sandwich. It's our late night go to in Disney Springs. The only downfall is the queue can be really really long but it is really aircon'd so I didn't mind :)

Went on the final day of the holiday after DTD check in. Seems everyone in Florida was there too, it was heaving! Food was nice but the whole experience was manic, rushed and it felt like grabbing a bit to eat on a stock trading floor. One of the staff taking the orders was only half listening and half preoccupied with someone talking behind her and messed up the order. Nice sandwich at a good price but not worth the hype based on this experience.

I love, love, love an Earl of Sandwich. Nothing beats a Holiday Sandwich on your first visit of the holiday to DTD. I want one right now they're so yummy!
Unfortunately there is always a big queue, the indoor seating is minimal in comparison to the size of said queue and it's not a great use of a DDP credit compared to places like Wolfgang Puck Express. That's not to say I'm not going back! I'll wait an hour, sit in the pouring rain in the outdoor seating area and spend multiple DDP credits on my beloved Holiday Sandwich, a cherry coke and a peanut butter/peppermint brownie...I want to be there right now!

Loved Earl of Sandwich. Ok, so it's not fine dining and yes it's really busy, but it certainly hits the nail on the head for quick, convenient yet tasty food. To be honest it was sometimes nice to have just a sandwich in contrast to the big meals we had on the DDP.

Called into DTD on the way to the airport and breakfasted with the Earl. First visit and impressed enough with both the service and the food on offer. I like the way that the sandwiches are wrapped in foil even when you are eating on the premises ensuring that they are piping hot, an infrequent delight in Florida in my experience! My only gripe is with the quality of the coffee, weak and uninspiring

We went to the Earl of Sandwich in Disney Village a couple of times in Mid September. The service was always quick and the restaurant always seemed clean.

On the first occasion I had The Full Montague which was fantastic, the bread was soft, warm and had absorbed all the juices from the beef to make it even extra tasty. Gemma had the Tomato Soup which was thick and full of flavour. Unlike normal 'out of tin' type soup it tasted like freshly ripened tomatoes. The only criticism of it is the size of the portion, it comes in a by small bowl and would benefit from possibly having a larger size.

Have previously have visited here in the past while at DTD but only for drinks and cups of fruit/cookie for my son and sat outside. One night on our last visit dad and kids went for ice cream at Ghirardelli's which i dont eat so i decided i would try a sandwich from Earls as i had heard so much about them. I ordered just a plaln salad/veg one with no cheese /egg etc and it came in foil and it was just lovely.

Food was good, though found it quite difficult to hear what the servers were saying when asking them what we could have on the plan (Am deaf in one ear). When I asked them to repeat, because I was not sure what they had said, the reply was quite short. We could not seem to see the salad pots they said we could have with the sandwich, so ended up buying a salad meal extra. Fortunately we had meals left over from our DDP plan. Drink was instantly replaced though when one of my sons dropped their drink.
Would probably eat here again if in Downtown Disney and wanted a counter service meal.

We went a number of times, located in Down Town Disney ( now Disney Springs) It was a great place to eat and a lovely change to the standard Quick service Dining Plan meals that we got in resort. We were able to use our meal credits for the food which was great. There was plenty of seating and the staff were very friendly. I loved the fact we could have " take out" sandwich which was great picking up after a long day at the parks and it was wrapped in a foil lined bag to keep hot. Highly recommended.

Visited 3 times, it was so good!

Tuna Melt is the best, but anything else on menu looks good. It looks totally swamped all the time however the queue moves very quickly and it is a well oiled machine. The small tubs of slaw, potato salad etc are great as well and with a sandwich are a full meal on their own.

Great value and would highly recommend.

The surprise package of our holiday - we arrived at DTD at lunch time and were considering where to eat when we stumbled upon the Earl. All 5 of us choose sandwiches and everyone fully enjoyed theirs. I had a BLT which was one of the nicest i've ever had. It was very filling and add in the free refills this was the best value meal we had in Orlando. We be back on our next visit. Brillant.

They have a really good selection of sandwiches that are all the same price ($6) and they are really big. I had the tuna melt which was so so so good! They also offer salads and wraps. You can see them preparing everything freshly in front of you as you move along the line. I would recommend this place 100% and it was so good we ate here 3 nights in a row!

We both had the 'Holiday sandwich'- turkey, cranberry, stuffing and it was absolutely gorgeous! Although not a massive portion, it still really filled us up and we wished we had tried this place sooner so we could have tried some of the other options. It does get really busy and the staff seemed a bit on edge due to the number of customers- they really don't get a chance to stop at all, but were still friendly enough despite the huge crowds of people waiting.

OK I admit it - I don't "get" Earl and the reviews it gets. The sandwiches are good but I don't find them anything special to other good fast food (burgers aside) I have in Disney or even compared to my local Italian Deli opposite my place of work. I hate the Q even if it does move fast and I have the stress of having to find somewhere to sit to eat - give me Wolfgang Pucks Express any day over this place.

That said I will continue to eat here IF I'm there early and during a quiet time then I find I enjoy it even more! Oh and why do people rave about the chocolate brownies here? Hmmm clearly they have never had Pret a Manger Chocolate Brownies LOL

There is a decent variety of sandwiches, soup, salads or fruit cups etc to choose from. We were there a couple of times during the holiday and loved the food.

Can be busy so it is useful to get someone to secure a table while you queue and can be confusing that the bottle drinks are out with the queuing area so grab them first.

Overall a great place to get a delicious snack.

We visited the Earl of Sandwich for lunch on a busy and hot August day. There was a large queue which went down pretty quickly. My daughter and i chose the chicken caesar salad and my husband had a BLT and my daughters boyfriend had a meatball sandwich. Everything we chose was delicious and I have to say the salad was one of the tastiest chicken Caesars I gave ever had. The portions were large and surroundings comfortable and clean. We would most definitely return.

Everyone loved the range of good quality food and others have stated the queue can get bit big but they move quickly and staff kept an eye on making sure people got served quickly. Loved the iced coffees and the range of soups - great for lunch when its too hot for a big meal but you want a break from shopping at DTD.

After reading all the rave reviews on here we thought we seek out the Earl of Sandwich for an evening snack. We went inside and the queues were horrendous and they were hardly moving. The unoccupied tables were dirty and the people eating sandwiches looked like they were eating mostly bread, with very little else. We gave up waiting and doubt we'll be heading back as its put us off, which is such a shame as they obviously can do better judging by all the positive comments on here.

We visited the Earl of Sandwich because of all the excellent reviews here! The sandwiches were certinaly nice but not as special as I thought they would be. The restaurant wasn't actually that busy when we went so it was fairly easy to get a table!

Bit of a late review- We loved it here, the soup and sandwich combo was so so filling and perfect if you didn't fancy having a large sit down meal. We went of the Christmas Period so it was busy, very busy, but found it clean and the food always tastey. Like others have said this is the BEST counter service in WDW. Only issue is the wife really wanted the Chicken Noodle soup and by the time we got there they had run out.

This restaurant gets very busy as the day unfolds.
We go at least once during our stay in the early morning for a ham and egg sandwich with a cup of tea for breakfast. They are part of the Disney dining plan, however their pricing is reasonable and the food well presented.
Best place for a sandwich only coming second to Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot's French world.

Very busy, but very popular the queues do move quick but it can be hard to grab a table. we have always found the food to be great and very filling, my advice treat this place like a take away and go cop a squat somewhere else to munch it. We will visit again.

Great if you are sick of eating fries! The choice of sandwiches was good, and although my sandwich had to be replaced (I ordered The Original with no horseradish, but it came with) service was quick and painless.

Always try to visit at least once every trip. Familiarity with the place does help as there are so many options and the choices for a large family can cause some confusion when adding on extras. Getting drinks and deserts can become chaotic at busy times so you need to have your wits about you and shout up if your order gets delayed. Having said that, now we're used to 'the system' we always have an enjoyable experience, but if the weather allows - and it usually does - then be prepared to take your food outside to eat it rather than wait for a table.

We were surprised to find this on the DDP but glad it was.The place is always busy so a good sign that the food is good,I suppose it's like a posh subway for lack of a better description! Dw had the Hawaian BBQ Chicken -warm and very tasty, myself I plumpted for the Carribbean Jerk chicken, followed up with some better than average coffee. We wouldn't hesitate to go here whenever we are at DTD.

Really enjoyed it here, DW had a capricosa (mozarella and tomato) and thought it quite good, but not quite subway. I had the Beef n' Bleu and thought it fantastic, especially with the mustard on it as well, DW agreed and tried to swap me for her's.

Very good value, but don't go expecting a little light sandwich. They are heavy substantial one's that filled us up so much that we skipped dinner that night.
