Do you mean the FREE DDP wasn't an option on a standard room at POR?
We've been to POR a few times and the room option never came into question then … it was related to Moderate or Deluxe locations

We went end of March in 2012 for 5 nights and paid just over £1600 back then for the 2 of us.
A few ideas ... yes the USS Intrepid is a good day out as I really enjoyed...
