We're also going in Sept/Oct 2025 and we expect Disney to be busy as it would make sense for Disney to put some offers out to entice guests attracted by EPIC Universe etc, but that's just a guess :)

Take drinks/snacks and hats if using the holding areas, very little shade, nowhere to grab food/drink (well not in the one we stayed in to get into ST) and it was absolutely sweltering and packed :)...

There is a place called Newton park on the winter garden side of the lake where you can park up and enjoy a walk round on boardwalk, see gators and birds etc with a small pier and have a drink/snack...
