The only way to diagnose it is a laparoscopy, don't let them fob you off with ultrasounds etc. Anyway just something to keep an eye on as it can cause bowel issues.

Hard to know exactly how Orlando area will be effected, but if you'd feel better in a hotel rather than a villa then I'd say go for it. You're less likely to lose power and most hotels will be well...
