& yes, it was red with a Union Jack roof. I sold it for £100 in 1972 because I couldn’t afford the repairs it needed.😢

In my experience, hospitals have always been noisy places. I take wax earplugs which block some/all noise. I use Muffles from Boots. Good for travel as well. Maybe worth a try?
