Not sure about stickers or barcodes but the one we have have a chip in the bottom and the refill station won’t release the drink without the chip being activated.

We tend to put it on the kids whilst undressed 20 minutes before we leave the villa. They put their clothes on when it’s all soaked in, then it’s ready to work when we get to the parks.
