We haven’t had a refund as they moved our flight to 24 hours later so hoping it still applies.

BA flights are full so we can’t move on to them...

BA flights are full so we can’t move on to them and there also aren’t any indirect they could put us on :( Only saving grace for us is we are going for 3 weeks, but not the point!

Aer Lingus have said there are no other flights and some people have had to be put on saturdays flight due to space. Just on hold to BA holidays now who we booked with to see what happens over hotel...

It looks like the TC flight is slower than the Virgin flight so even though they depart 10 mins apart they arrive 30mins apart, so hopefully can get most people through before it gets too busy.

It seems to be that virgin flights are so much more expensive than usual. I found they were a similar price to Thomas cook last year or only a little bit more but for next year they seem to be loads...

I decided to go with a different date and 12noon instead. Wasn’t really the date I wanted or time but I was panicking over it being so early and filling the rest of the day.
