So I checked with the HOA at Hunters Creek and they confirmed that it was in fact against the rules of the community to short term rent your home.

Windsor Hills is very nice and they recently updated the water park here. Margaritaville looks amazing but you are correct it's very expensive. You can, however, pay to use the waterpark here.
