I got it really bad when I was in Florida - I can't take antihistamines at the moment as I'm pregnant so I got some calamine lotion from Target which did the trick! It really took the itching away...

We have just got back and it was definitely still happening. The queue was pretty big each time we went past but managed to go just at park closing (11pm at the time) and didn't have to wait too long.

We've only bought Disney tickets as Universal didn't seem worth the extra expense. I'm definitely going to plan to do mornings in the parks and then head back...

We went in early May and loved it! Weather was hot but not too humid and we had very little rain. The parks were busy at times but manageable especially with Fastpass+. I'd definitely go again in May!
