I'd take Pym over Downtown purely based on location and not needing to leave the park.
If I had no plans to return to the parks, then Downtown.

Murrayfield is so easy, park at Ingliston park and ride, i recommend getting there for 10am and get on the tram (all day ticket) and head into the city...
