You don’t need 6 months remaining. My daughter only had a few weeks left on hers and it was fine. As long as it’s valid for your period of travel you’ll be fine.

I think it feels more expensive due to the exchange rate. Hopefully the pound will pick up against the dollar.

Try Port Orleans Riverside, you can pool hop and use the FQ one. POR also has a shallow kids pool next to their main pool. We were actually staying at POR and walked or caught the boat to FQ.

Port Orleans FQ has a lovely kids splash play area next to the main pool. My 4 year old daughter loved it, she could go on slides and splash in the fountains etc.
