Also watched a Jake Gyllenhaal movie last...
Also watched a Jake Gyllenhaal movie last night... a slightly older one - Source Code... enjoyable enough.
And like most (not all) older movies, manages to fit the whole story into about an hour...

Loved the book, the film was good (Spielberg saw to that) but not "the same" ... as always liberties taken, changes made to timelines etc,...

The Lost City... Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum... really quite good fun, didn't expect to like it as much.
Was a great homage to Romancing the Stone running throughout. Bit of light fun.

I thought it was soooo bad, dh and (adult) dds loved it, laughed, "got" the in jokes, but to be honest as a stand alone film I was sat there totally incredulous... I thought they were having me on!
