I've only been to Gleneagles which as you'd expect was superb but that was a golfing trip. Im not really sure I'd use it as a base for a family trip though so maybe the other option would be best.

Would also recommend Park MGM. We had 4 nights there on our last trip and 5 nights each at Planet Hollywood and Paris.

We tend to prefer MGM hotels over Caesars properties.

Played a couple of rounds on Milennium and Laguna. Both great courses although greens on Laguna not in great shape. Didn't get asked for a handicap certificate at either.
