My son tested positive on lateral flow and PCR in June. A week after his lateral flow positive test it was negative so they will be fine.

I wonder if itís just the adults who need to scan in as i think itís like our track and trace here. My son will be 12 so will be scanning QR code with his negative results to access places.

Take an antigen with you, doesnít have to be PCR ( unless that has changed very recently) C19 testing are a good one and gives you QR code to scan for entry.
