We went same 2 weeks in 2010 and we didn't have a drop of rain and only needed a light jacket/ Cardie in the evenings so don't worry about it it will be fine .

It is feasible to travel out with 3 sets of shorts and tshirts so washing every 2nd day buy your toiletries in florida . So not always neccesary to have hold luggage in fact we are hoping to travel...
