(Total cost x 0.20) then total cost minus whatever the first sum was. eg, let's say total cost was £1000:

£1000 x 0.20 = £200. £1000 - £200 = £800 so £800 is the cost before VAT.

I think so. It was about 3 months after we got back from Florida that we got our cashback back - that wasn't for Disney though, it was an Expedia booking of a Universal hotel.
