I too have always found that Disney charged per room however on checking attraction tickets directs prices for a Disney hotel for 2019 they are charging more for exactly the same room for 3 adults...

We did this route in 2015 and would have no problem doing it again. Considered various different ways of getting from Heathrow to Gatwick but in the end used BA Transfers who were great.
