The worst case will be that you can't upgrade to the fancy bands and there will only be plain coloured bands available. That's been the case for several years...

Yes, anyone staying onsite will be able to pay to upgrade the normal MagicBand to a fancy one, once the option becomes available.

UK guests will have to pick the MagicBands up when they check in...
