I really wish travellers cheques were still a thing, that is how we sorted it last time, paying off every few days.

Yeah, it can show for up to 30 days, but I think there is a difference in the type of transaction which means the credit card company can see it is not money you have actually spent, so you won’t go...

This has been in place since 2019 and I think it doesn’t affect credit cards as the company can tell it’s not an actual charge? I may be wrong but I think the issues are with debit cards and prepaid...
